Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.
For me nursing is not only a profession but it is more on that of vocation. . Nurses perhaps are the best friend of the patient, and with this I believe that Nursing is the art of rendering not only medical interventions but most importantly the “care” that the patient needs.
